I am Hans, 36 years old. Since my early childhood I have been fascinated by art and especially paintings. To big surprise of the museumguard, my father constantly had to wait for me during a visit to the empire museum. I draw and paint since I knew how to hold a brush. On the age of 22 I stood at a crossroad in my life; it was either starting a study at the Academy of Arts or start with a study called Chemical Engineering. Because I felt less free at the time, I chose the latter option, wich didn't mean I stopped drawing and painting. After a very turbulent time in my life, I started focussing on painting again, especially using oil on canvas. I have no set outlining in what I want, I'm just curious as to where this road will take me. I love expressive paintings and I find it important paintings evoke a certain feeling or emotion.
